Visual Artist. Teacher.
These have been my two passions since delving on the path of Art Education in 2016. In 2021 I received my Bachelors of Fine Arts in Art Education from the University of South Carolina and have since worked as a Visual Arts teacher at the secondary level.
Alongside my career as a teacher I have dedicated myself to consistently creating personal work. This has led to my involvement in multiple group exhibitions until my first series that resulted from the fast-paced “Lightning Residency” created by the Redux Contemporary Art Center of Charleston for emerging artists.
My work explores themes of contemporary gender inequity through Art-Nouveau aesthetics, tongue-in-cheek commentary on popular culture, and human connection to nature through figures and natural elements.

2021 - 2023 Allegro Charter School
Created inter-disciplinary visual arts curriculum for 6th- 12th grade students in Title 1 music school, Differentiated instruction for low-reading comprehension rates, Managed $10,000 supply budget, Equipped program for ceramics, printmaking, painting, and drawing mediums.
2023 - 2026 Wando High School
Work in professional learning community of five visual arts teachers to teach Art 1, Create and teach Art 2 - Observational Drawing curriculum, Facilitate yearly art show, Sponsor National Art Honor Society and Art Club with monthly workshops, yearly field trip and large scale community project
